The Loyal Orange Lodge Newdale Branch 1533 will be holding a scrap metal fundraiser at the Lodge in Newdale (old coop grocery store) from Feb 1st to 15th.   A scrap metal bin will be set up in front of the Lodge on Main Street.  The bin will be available for anyone who would like to deposit scrap metal into it.  The money raised will go towards the establishment of a charity store in the end of the Lodge that used to be the post office.  Once operating the store will sell second hand goods, army surplus, and Amazon returns with money made going to a different local charity every month.
