Leda Lake developments – Laurence, in addition to the Chambers walkway on the lake from the Viking Ship, Laurence mentioned a previous proposal by Jackie Grevett to develop a kayak launching and picnic area at the northeast end of the lake close to the campground. As well that DU has structures on the lake and the rainbow trout farming initiative in the 60-70s started on the lake. The lake has tremendous potential if the Chamber could coordinate all interested parties to sit down at a table an provide input to an all-inclusive plan. Laurence will continue to follow.

Main street garbage cans –Steve Langston has asked the Chamber to investigate placing additional garbage cans on Main St. Kristy gave considerable information of past thought and potential future in the plans for garbage collection and recycling. A report will be prepared by next meeting by the secretary. A link for potential containers is, https://www.barkmanconcrete.com/products/site-furnishings/waste-containers/product/waste-containers/

(FYI, there are garbage & recycling bins at: Co-op gas bar & grocery store; the hotel; the Viking Ship: there are recycling bins only at NorthStar Ins, Friendship Garden, Mountain Pharmacy & Little Hands.)
